But, to develop this types of tourism government should know how to handle as it involves the people culture that may be a sensitive issues to change or interrupt.

     To bring more forward of the cultural tourism in the future, a promotion is needed at the adequate level. World-of-mouth information that comes out as an outcome of personal experiences of the tourists at cultural attractions in Malaysia can play a vital role in promotion. A favourable destination image should be created through appropriate promotional efforts so that cultural and historical or archaeological attractions of Malaysia are given special emphasis like any other area of tourism.

       So we meet again to explore more about our topic in cultural tourism. Today we are going to talk about the type of tourist that is going to join the cultural tourism.

      So, when we talk about cultural tourism of course we can say that the types of tourist is leisure tourist. This is because for tourist in cultural tourism they do not travel for monetary benefit as they are just seeking for culture like the people lifestyle, history of the place, the monumens and arts, interested in religion, and other civilizations.

       Normally cultural tourism can be happen in inbound and outbound tourism. This means that the tourist will traveller either in their own country or leaving their country of origin to travel to another country. For instance, people in Malaysia who stay in Pulau pinang will go to Melaka to gain more knowledge about Melaka culture such as Baba and Nyonya culture. Examples for people who travel outside of their country is like tourist in Malaysia will travel to the others country like South Africa to get know more about culture at there such as their ethnic and festival.

     As you know, in tourism there are a few reasons that will motivate a tourist to go somewhere. First, let we know about the definition of tourism motivation. Tourism motivations are essentially the 'push and pull' factors associated with travel and destination, tradisional models have defined push motives as the desire to go on vacation in comparison to the pull motives explaining the choice of destination.

      So, let we move on to gain more knowledge about motivations that create in cultural tourism. The pull factors that may motivate the tourist is they have an attraction in terms of cultural tourism about the way of lifestyle of the people which one can experience; dress, jewellery, dance, music, architure, and painting; and also about customs and beliefs, fairs, and festivals, and religion practised in the region.

     Thus, we can say that the culture in the place that we go is motivate us to go there. Besides that, if we say about the push factors we can say that the tourist are motivate by their friends experience, relatives or someone that had been there before.

     For instance, in Malaysia there was many festival that introduce to the tourist about culture such as "Year of festivals 2015" at Melaka. There are so many thing that tourist can see and discover in this place. As we know Melaka is one of the country that famous with Baba and Nyonya culture. So festival like this will motivates a tourist to get more knowledge about that place.

It can also in rural areas showcasing the traditions of indigenous cultural communities such as festivals or rituals, and their values and lifestyle.

    It is generally agreed that cultural tourists spend substantially more than standard tourists do. This form of tourism is also becoming generally more popular throughout the world, and a recent Organizational Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) report has highlighted the role that cultural tourism can play in regional development in different world regions.

    Cultural tourism has been defined as 'the movement of persons to cultural attractions away from their normal place of residence, with the intention to gather new information and experiences to satisfy their cultural needs'. Cultural tourism has a long history, and with its roots in the Grand Tour is arguably the original form of tourism. It is also one of the forms of tourism that most policy makers seem to be betting on for the future.

    In spite of these problems, policy makers, tourist boards and cultural attraction managers around the world continue to view cultural tourism as an important potential source of tourism growth.

  Cultural tourism forms an important component of international tourism in our world today. It represents the movements of people motivated by cultural intents such as study tours, performing arts, festivals, cultural events, visits to sites and monuments, as well as travel for pilgrimages. Cultural tourism is also about immersion in and enjoyment of the lifestyle of the local people, the local area and what constitutes its identity and character.

   In Malaysia, we can find a lot of places that are related with cultural tourism. As we know Malaysia is one of the place that has a lot of ethnic that has different concept of culture. We can find so many interesting culture in Malaysia.

    The culture of Malaysia draws on the varies cultures of the different people of Malaysia. They were consist of Malay, Chinese, Indian and others people that are living in Malaysia. We can see the develop of culture since our sultanese history and the culture are still remain till now.

     We can see the culture in Malaysia from festival, performing arts, cultural events, visits to sites and monuments. In Malaysia, they have many festival as an attraction to the tourist to come to Malaysia. For instance, the major festival in malaysia include hari raya aidilfitri, chinese new year, deepavali, penang international dragon boat festival, national boat festival.

      Besides festival, Malaysia are also full with arts, museum and ethnic culture. This the the attraction that attract tourist to get more knowledge about Malaysia culture. For instance, there was a lot of museum that shows Malaysia culture such as National Museum in Kuala Lumpur, Cheng Hong Cultural Museum in Malacca, Sarawak Living Museum, and Negeri Sembilan museums and craft culture complex.

     Ethnic culture is also one of the attraction in cultural tourism. As we know Malaysia stand for variety of ethnic which is Malays, Chinese, Indians, Kadazan, Iban and others. They are stand for variety culture that has bring forward from their past generation. We can see the culture from their cloths, food, tradition and lifestyle.

     Malaysia need to improve their services in order to get more tourist to travel to the Malaysia. So that, others people can feel the variety of culture in Malaysia.
