Motivation : What motivate tourist to participate

Hai.. Hello to the all tourist in the world! 

     As you know, in tourism there are a few reasons that will motivate a tourist to go somewhere. First, let we know about the definition of tourism motivation. Tourism motivations are essentially the 'push and pull' factors associated with travel and destination, tradisional models have defined push motives as the desire to go on vacation in comparison to the pull motives explaining the choice of destination.

      So, let we move on to gain more knowledge about motivations that create in cultural tourism. The pull factors that may motivate the tourist is they have an attraction in terms of cultural tourism about the way of lifestyle of the people which one can experience; dress, jewellery, dance, music, architure, and painting; and also about customs and beliefs, fairs, and festivals, and religion practised in the region.

     Thus, we can say that the culture in the place that we go is motivate us to go there. Besides that, if we say about the push factors we can say that the tourist are motivate by their friends experience, relatives or someone that had been there before.

     For instance, in Malaysia there was many festival that introduce to the tourist about culture such as "Year of festivals 2015" at Melaka. There are so many thing that tourist can see and discover in this place. As we know Melaka is one of the country that famous with Baba and Nyonya culture. So festival like this will motivates a tourist to get more knowledge about that place.
